The Fat Penguins. A hard driving blues and R&B outfit, the band consists of five seasoned musicians with a wealth of experience.

Fronting the band on vocals is Mark (Mags) Wilcox, ex Soul Sonic, along with Tom McRea on harmonica, now a blues veteran having cut his teeth with The Bluesers, Soul Sonic and Deja Blue, Chris Pearson, ex Deja Blue and Cruisin’ for a Bluesin’, injects his own jazz tinged blues on guitar and they are ably supported by the great rhythm section of Bernie Brewster, ex Cadillac Kings, Victor Brox Band, Cruisin’ for a Bluesin and The Heaters, on bass and the in demand, hard driving Martin Brown, ex The Heaters, on drums.

They play an intriguing mixture of up-tempo blues with many influences ranging from Steve Marriott through to Stax and back to the Blues Delta.
